We, John GmbH, have been operating as a down-to-earth, family-run manufacturer and developer of medical aids and preliminary products since 1994. Our company, based in Treffurt, supplies the orthopaedics, rehabilitation and medical supply retail sectors.
With our products, we help to give people with disabilities a better quality of life. The high quality of our products for the benefit of our customers is our top priority.
Our goal
Our goal is to create a better quality of life for people with disabilities and their families through smart solutions. Thanks to our high level of vertical integration, we can respond to challenges in the best possible way and in close proximity to our customers.
For the specialised trade, we see ourselves as a trusted service provider in the manufacture of preliminary products and in the provision of the necessary technical and regulatory requirements of the MDR.
The Josi range in particular is an enabler for us! They mean a bit of freedom and joy for affected children and their parents. We want to contribute to questioning and breaking down barriers in our minds and in our society, as well as enabling families to hike, jog, cycle and enjoy nature together!

Some time ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming the WDR team from the programme ‘Sendung mit der Maus’.
Here you can follow Eric and his mum as they make a new seat shell for Eric’s new wheelchair. From the first impression to the test drive and the final polish, everything is shown and explained in detail in a way that children can understand.
